Synopsis:
Kate and Vincent have overcome the odds and at last they are together in Paris, the city of lights and love.
As their romance deepens there’s one question they can’t ignore: How are they supposed to be together if Vincent can’t resist sacrificing himself to save others? Although Vincent promises that he’ll do whatever it takes to lead a normal life with Kate, will that mean letting innocent people die? When a new and surprising enemy reveals itself, Kate realizes that even more may be at stake—and that Vincent’s immortality is in jeopardy.
In Die for Me, Amy Plum created a captivating paranormal mythology with immortal revenants and a lush Paris setting. Until I Die is poised to thrill readers with more heart-pounding suspense, spellbinding romance, and a cliff-hanger ending that will leave them desperate for the third and final novel in the series.
Until I Die is the second book on the amazing Revenants series. We fell in love with Die for Me, and we were expecting the same from Until I Die. And let us tell you something, we were absolutely right. Until I Die was an exciting, magnificent, stunning and breathtaking book. Until I Die has all we want in a book; it’ll make you laugh, fall in love (especially with Jules *Jules team rock*), cry and scream. And all at the same time.
In the second book of the Revenants series, Vincent promises Kate that he’ll resist his desire to die. In order to accomplish his vow, he has to do some dangerous things that will bring him a tremendous suffering.
Charles has failed saving a children’s life and exposed himself and his kindred to the numas. As a consequence, now he and his twin Charlotte have to move to other place and new revenants will take their place in JB’s (Jean-Baptiste) mansion. This replace are a couple of old and wise Revenants.
But wait…the Revenants have something gross going on. They’ll have to face an evil bigger than what they’ve seen in their lives. Someone of their closest circle will betray them, put everyone they love at risk and cause enumerable suffering.
We really love this book, even though we wish things had gone a little different, but just a little. So if you are one of those person who think “Ok, I’ve read the first one and ended happily ever after…and I don’t want to ruin my little fantasy, so I won’t read the other ones” let us tell you that if you do not read Until I Die, you will regret it. It is fantastic book that, probably will make you be on the edge of your chair all the way through it, but we can assure you that you would be satisfied with the result.
We really hope that you follow our advise, and that is why we will leave you one of our favorites quotes from Until I Die.
We really loved this book, we wish we can write a lot more than we have done, but we though you wouldn’t like to be spoiled, or would you? Because if that’s the case…go ahead, tell us! We would be SO happy to do it! *giggling*.
The privilege of knowing the author's website, is not only to know news about the books or know about the author. We also can find cute things like the soundtrack of the book we are looking for. That is how we found out about the soundtrack of Until I Die. And because we know there is nothing more relaxing than reading with the book's soundtrack, here is the Until I Die Playlist.
We have also been searching cool stuff about the Revenants Series done by addict fans like us. Since we did not write an extensive review about Until I Die to prevent from unwished spoilers, we wondered, if this series were a movie, who the actors will be. We loved this work below with Willa Holland as Kate and Jake Abel and Max Irons as Jules and Vincent.
We would loved to see Max Irons as Jules (because you all know we are team Jules, although we also love Vincent) and Jake Abel as Vincent. What do you book addicts think?
We had no doubt about Willa Holland as Kate. She is perfect. Her fine features, almost white skin and delicate figure looks like our dearest Kate. She represents everything we have imagined that Kate would look like while reading the book.
However, we have to ask. Who would you choose to be Jules? and Vincent? Jake Abel or Max Irons? If you did not like this actors to represent our Revenants, who would you choose?
Vincent Or Jules? Oh, cruel choice.
