Review Policy

I am generally open to review copy requests. My preferred format is physical copies but I occasionally do accept requests on NetGalley, Edelweiss and through other formats (Mobi mainly), but I try to limit myself due to availability.

My reviews will always be available on Amazon and Goodreads as well as a blog post. If a physical copy of the book has been provided also a promotional review will be published on my Instagram account.

I will also try to publish my reviews on other platforms such as Bookdepository, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest. On some of these platforms I will also cross-post any other materials I may have created when inspired by the book (book playlists, mood boards, dream casts, etc.).

All my reviews are meant to be respectful opinions. These will come from a personal point of view about the story written and the impression it gave me and will never aim to tear down the author or the author's work.

I do not charge at all for any reviews I might publish in any of my platforms or any other promotional work I might offer to different authors, publishers and/or literary agents.

The only time I might not be posting a review will be when I DNF a book. However, I might post a quick DNF review on Goodreads to show I have read the book but it was not my "cup of tea", a sort of "it's not the book, it's me" sort of review.

Following the same style as on Goodreads, my reviews can go up to 5 stars and there is the possibility that that some stories might deserve half a star, as shown below:

The rating will also be included when posting the reviews on other platforms (e.g. Amazon, Goodreads...) so in case a book has been given a half star can be reflected on the review.

My favourite genres are general fiction, anything with a romance, fantasy (any type please!) and scifi. On occasions I read some nonfiction young adult novels, but it will be on a case by case basis.

For new adult and adult novels, I am also an avid reader of these genres but the only caviat I ask is that it has romance in the story. As an example, I am big fan of authors such as G. BaileyIvy AsherRachel Van DykenAbbi GlinesTijanKelly ElliottJane Washington among others.

The only genre I do not read mainly because I do not connect with the books any more and middle grade novels.
